What is a parallel dialer?

A parallel dialer calls several contacts at the same time for one rep. When someone answers, the rep is connected to that person and the other calls are stopped, so reps spend their time in conversations instead of waiting on rings.

Will contacts hear a delay when they answer?

Dialer waits for answering-machine detection to confirm a human, then bridges them into a call room the rep is already sitting in, so the connection happens almost instantly.

How many lines should my team run?

Most teams start at 2-3 lines and increase once their connect rates are known. Managers set a maximum per campaign, and the abandonment guard steps in if you push too hard.
