Workflow Automation
Workflow automation built around your calls
Turn your follow-up playbook into a workflow. Start from a call outcome, missed call, text reply or tag, then wait, branch and act automatically, without Zapier.
Why it matters
What workflow automation does for your team
- 01
Visual builder
One trigger, then waits, If / else and A/B split branches, and actions, all laid out on a canvas you can read at a glance.
- 02
Triggers from every conversation
Call outcomes, missed calls, texts received, STOP replies, campaign entry and exit, tag, status and owner changes, and tasks coming due.
- 03
Safe by design
Exit rules stop a run when the contact connects, replies, opts out or closes. Texts are capped per contact per day.
How it works
- 1
Pick a trigger
For example "Call outcome is No answer" or "Missed inbound call".
- 2
Add waits and branches
Wait for a time, until a time of day, or until they reply or call back, with a time limit.
- 3
Add actions
Text, tag, set lead status, assign an owner, create a task, move to a campaign, call next or send a webhook.
- 4
Publish
Publishing freezes a version. Contacts already in a run keep the version they started on.
Spec sheet
- Waits: duration, time of day, or until reply / call
- If / else and A/B split branches
- Add, move or remove from campaigns, call next, requeue
- Text, tag, lead status, owner, task, note, DNC, webhook
- Enroll in another workflow
- Versioned publishing and per-step run logs
FAQ
Workflow Automation questions
Do I still need Zapier or GoHighLevel workflows?
Not for calling follow-up. Dialer's workflows react to call outcomes, texts and tasks directly, so most cadences live next to the dialer. Webhook actions are there for anything else.
What happens to people mid-workflow when I edit it?
Nothing changes for them. Each publish creates a new version, and contacts already running keep the version they started on.
